Many companies receive hundreds of leads a day that aren't worth following up on, and it's important to get the obvious junk out of the way so your marketing and lead cultivation people can focus on the leads that are real. Unfortunately, SFDC doesn't provide any lead filtering as part of the system.

Lead JunQue is a free APEX application package that adaptively filters leads for junk qualities like bad email domains (asdf.com.fr), company names (ssss), job titles (mistress of the dark) and email addresses (donald.duck@disney.com). The filter moves Leads from their current owner to the special SFDC queue for JunQue -- the "trash heap" that you don't expect to follow up on. The system lets you nominate email domains, job titles, and company names from the database, or to exclude Leads that erroneously trigger a JunQue rule. You can create dashboards and supporting reports to view the size of the JunQue database and the flow of leads to it.
